A total exemption from property taxes on a homestead is available for 100% Disabled Veterans. To qualify, the veteran must meet all of the criteria in one of the two sets of criteria.
- The property must be the veteran’s residence
- Disability must be service connected
- 100% Disability Rating
- Receiving 100% compensation
OR
- The property must be the veteran’s residence
- Disability must be service connected
- Rated unemployable
- Receiving 100% compensation
